I walk around the house singing that song, thinking of Tylene. I have the Lou Bega CD blaring through the house. I hear a car pull up and smile. Ty is home from the Power Plant. Had it not been for my twisted ankle I would have been there as well.

I hear the front door open, and I hear a loud sob come from Tylene. I look at her. Tears are streaming down her face.

"Tylene! What on earth?? Sweetheart, what is wrong?" I say to her.

"They fired me!" she sobbed as she ran up the stairs to our bedroom.

I turn the song off, and go upstairs after her. I open up the bedroom door and find Ty sitting on our bed sobbing.

"Sweetheart, what do you mean they fired you?"

"Me, Vanessa, Sharmell, Shannon, and Leia..." she continued sobbing.

"What? Why?"

She shugs her shoulders and sobbed. I walk into the bathroom and grabbed some toliet paper off the roll, making a mental note to myself to buy some klenexes.

"Well, tomorrow, we will send feelers to the WWF," I tell her. "Now get some rest, you've had a hard day."

I awake the next day and look over at Tylene. She is still asleep, or so I thought. I climb out of bed and go downstairs.

I walk into the kitchen and begin cooking some bacon and eggs. I go to the fridge and get out the orange juice and pour it into a glass. The then put the bagon and eggs on a plate, put the plate and glass on a tray and head up the stairs.

I open the door, she is laying on her right side in bed.

"Tylene, I made you breakfast," I tell her cheerfully.

"Take it away, I'm not hungry." she sobs.

I set the tray in the chair that is next to the vanity.

I go back to our room two hours later, the tray is still in the chair, untouched. I go over to the bed to see if she is sleeping, she isn't. She is just laying there, on her right side staring into space.

"Ty..."

"Leave me alone." came a sad voice from the bed.

A WEEK LATER:

I sigh and look towards the stairs. Things have gotten worse since the day Ty came home crying. She still won't eat, she won't sleep. She won't talk to anyone who called or came over. She barely says two words to me. I am about ready to go up the stairs and check on her when the phone rings. I go over and answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hi." It is Sharmell Sullivan on the other line.

"Hi, how are you?? What's new?"

"Well, Diversity 5 is off to a great start! It's so good to see Teri and Melissa again. How is Tylene? Have you heard any news yet?"

I sigh into the phone heavily. How am I going to tell Sharmell that Tylene still isn't taking any phone calls or visitors? She had called at least three times this week, so has Shannon and Leia.

"I'm sorry Sharmell, there has been no change," I tell her.

"You sound down yourself, you ok?"

"She won't eat, I can't get her to eat anything. She barely says two words to me. I know she is so unhappy but what can I do? If WWF or WCW doesn't do something quick..." I let my sentence trail off.

"Look, I'm sure things will be ok, ok? Tylene is tough, she will pull through. Listen, I have to go, Vanessa is here, and we need to leave. Tell Ty I called."

"I will, bye Sharmell."

"Bye."

After hanging up the phone I shake my head and went up the stairs to check on Ty.

***************************************************************************

"Tylene, I have made a decision. I am contacting the WWF. I can't stand seeing what this is doing to you..."

"WWF doesn't want WCW's sloppy seconds. Face it, no fed wants me..." she says sadly as she laid in our bed.

"Tylene Buck! We are not going to give up! Now they are all probably busy at Titan with the debut of the XFL and all... I'm giving them a call today."

"Do what you want, but it won't matter.." she said with a sob.

I gaze at her for a minute before leaving the room and softly closing the door.

I went downstairs and picked up the phone in the living room. I dialed Kevin's number.

"Hey Yo!" came a familiar voice.

"Hey Scott, is Kev there?"

"He is, but he is disposed at the moment."

"Scotty, I need a huge favor, maybe you can help."

"What?"

"I need the number to Titan. Please, it is important."

Scott let out a sigh.

"Hey Hall, who is it?" I hear Kevin ask in the background.

"I'll give you three good guesses and the first two don't count." Scott says jokingly.

"Gimme that.." I hear Kevin say. "Hello?"

"Kevin!"

"Hey you? What's up?"

"I need the number to Titan. It's important. It's for Ty."

"I take it WCW hasn't hired her back."

"No, they haven't, Kev, please. Listen, she is highly highly depressed right now. I have to get a hold of the WWF.."

"Hold on a second" he says. A minute later he comes back. "Ok, this is Jim Ross's number I'm giving you."

I write down the number as he rattles it off to me.

"I hope things work out kiddo." he tells me.

"So do I Kev, so do I." I tell him.

After I thank them for the number and hung up. I dialed the number to Titan Sports.

"Hello, Jim Ross's office, this is his secretary, Janine speaking. How may I help you?"

"Hello, this is..." I pause. Whose name should I use, mine or Ty's. "This is Tylene Buck, I was wondering if the WWF had any positions for valets or female wrestlers open? I was recently released from WCW."

"Yes Miss Buck, we heard about the incident over at WCW. Mr. Ross is out right not, can I have him call you back later on today?"

"Yes, that would be fine. Thank you."

"Your welcome. Good-bye Miss Buck."

"Good-bye Janine."

*****************************************************************************

I hung up the phone and looked at the clock. Three thirty. I have to go see my chiropractor soon. I head up the stairs and into our bedroom.

She is still lying in the bed, on her side, staring into space. I sit on the bed, and face her.

"Tylene, sweetheart. I need you to listen to me." I tell her as I play with the ends of her hair that are laying across her shoulder. "I have to go to chiropractor today. I will be back, BUT, and this is the part you need to pay attention to, the WWF should be calling back. So if I'm not here, and the phone rings, you really need to answer it."

She nods a little and I smile at her.

I kiss her on the lips. How I have missed doing that. With her depression, she has not wanted to make love at all. I pull away softly and stand up off the bed.

"I will be home soon, Ty. I love you."

"Love you too." she whispered sadly as I leave the room.

AN HOUR LATER:

God how I hate going to my chiropractor. I'm in more pain now then when I started. I wonder if the WWF called the house yet. God I hope they hire Ty. I would like nothing more then to go home and her to be totally happy, just like before WCW fired her. Damn, I need gas.

I pull into a gas station and see Terry Taylor filling up his car with gas. He looks over, sees me and waves. I go over to him and he gives me a hug.

"Hey girl! How are you? How is your back?" he exclaims.

"I'm fine. How are you?"

"Things are OK, hectic at work. Oh by the way, I'm glad you're here. I have some good news for Tylene. You two are still together, right?"

"Yeah, we are. What is the good news?"

"Well, WCW is realizing it made two mistakes. firing Shannon and firing Tylene. Eric Bischoff will be calling both Tylene and Shannon today and telling them the WCW wants them back, but for a lesser pay."

My mouth drops open. WCW wants Tylene back?!?! Oh god this is great news. I smile at Terry and tell him how happy she will be to her from him. We say our goodbye's, get in our seperate cars and drive away.

As I drive down the road, I get my Lou Bega CD out and begin to play track number eight. "Beauty On The TV Screen". I smile, knowing once agian, Tylene will be back in WCW. I begin to sing along even, I am that happy.

I walk in the door and hang my coat up. God, I love getting good news. Now to go tell Tylene. I see the machine flashing. Gee Bisch, that was quick..

I go over and push the button.

"Hello."

Tylene's voice.

"Hello Ms Buck, this is Jim Ross."

Oh the WWF did call Ty.

"Hello Mr Ross. How are you?"

"I'm fine My secretary Janine, told me that you called an hour ago, asking about a job.

A slight pause, she must have forgot that I called earlier. Of course I didn't tell her I would use her name

"Yes. I did."

Good recovery there, Ty.

"Ms. Buck , I have to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm sorry to say that WWF has no female openings at this time. I'm sorry."

"Me too Mr Ross, me too."

Oh no, they rejected her. Well, I gues I have to go cheer her up.

I run up the stairs to tell her the good news.

"Tylene! Ty, I have good news!" I yell as I run up the stairs.

I open up the bedroom and see she is not in the bed. I smile, That must be a good sign, she must be up and about. I look and see the bathroom door is ajar. I smile and head towards the bathroom.

"Tylene, guess whio I bumped into today.." I exclaim as I push open the bathroom door.

The sight I see next shocks and saddens me. I hear myself screaming NO! real loud. My eyes fill up with tears. Tylene. Her beautiful naked body, sitting in the bathtub. The water, it's red. I run over and grab her left arm out of the water. Her wrist, slit. I reach across the tub, into the water, and grab her other wrist. It too is slit. I drop her right arm and feel around her neck for a pulse. None. I'm too late. Why? Why Tylene?

All the sudden I hear the phone ring once, twice, three times. Then I hear a voice on the machine,

"Hello, this is Eric Bischoff..."

The End.
